Fresh Snow, a US IPA

We're very excited that our stout, Tamar Black, has been awarded Silver in the Champion Beer of Britain South West Regional Competition 2015. Thanks to North Devon CAMRA for presenting us with the award.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our last open night of the year on 31st October including Kernowforno who served some gorgeous wood fired pizzas.
Our congratulations go to Jeff who won our conker tournament, and to Cathy who won the carved pumpkin competition!

We have a new seasonal beer "Green Hop Ale" - a beautiful light ale brewed the day after the hops were harvested from Stocks Farm in Worcestershire. Brewed with 100% British hops.
It's time for CAMRA members to nominate beers for the next Champion Beer of Britain (CBoB) competitions. Voting is open until 1st November on the CBoB website.

We have a new seasonal beer "Dark Bomb" - a dark, rich, smooth, lightly smoked porter made with smoked malt using the traditional floor malting process at Warminster Maltings.

Great news - our US IPA, Hop on the Run, will be at the Great British Beer Festival. The UK's biggest beer festival is being held at Olympia, London from 11-15th August. They'll be over 900 real ales, ciders, perries and international beers to sample. Looking forward to it!! And we'll have a stall at the Hatherleigh Festival Street Market on Saturday 25th July 11am-4pm.

Thanks to Morris Elsworth and Dickie Dickinson for presenting us with the North Devon CAMRA Brewer of the Year award for the second year running. Great night had by all!

We have one new regular ale for 2015 and a new seasonal ale:
Holsworthy Original - a rounded session ale with a good bitterness and some fruity hoppy notes, and
Hop on the Run - an American style IPA. Packed full of vibrant hops from America, this beer has good body and lasting flavour.
